Our Programs
At the Seine River Skating Club, we’re proud to offer Skate Canada programs for all ages and skill levels — whether you’re just stepping on the ice for the first time, building strong skating fundamentals, or advancing into figure skating.
Pre-CanSkate (Parent & Tot)
For our youngest skaters (ages 3–5), this program introduces children to the ice through games, music, and fun activities. Skaters learn the basics of balance and movement, with a parent or guardian on the ice alongside them.

CanSkate
Skate Canada’s flagship “learn-to-skate” program for children ages 5 and up. Skaters develop the essential skills needed for hockey, ringette, figure skating, speed skating — or simply skating for fun.
Intro-to-STAR & STARSkate
For skaters ready to move beyond CanSkate, these programs introduce and build on figure skating skills, including jumps, spins, dance, and choreography. Skaters can progress through Skate Canada’s STAR program with the support of certified coaches.

Adult & Teen Skating
It’s never too late to enjoy the ice! This program helps teens and adults build confidence, refine basic skills, and, if desired, explore the world of figure skating in a fun and supportive environment.
